Starfighter Concept
(Phoenix SE5)

The Phoenix SE5 was one of my favorite concepts to design. I grew up watching air shows, launches, and going to air and space museums with my dad. I am also a huge fan of Star Wars. The starships and cruisers initially drew me in as a kid. I loved how they had a very retro yet, simultaneously futuristic appearance. I wanted to combine all of these nostalgic elements into a single concept. The design of this fighter was inspired by the world's first fighter jet from WWII, combined with elements of a Stealth F-117 Nighthawk, B2 Bomber, and SR-71. Those being of few of my father's and my favorite jets. This was my take on the fastest ship in the galaxy.
