Biography

My name is Jake Heil. I grew up in San Diego, CA with my parents and older sister. As a kid I always loved drawing, coloring, building and unfortunately for my parents, disassembling things. I always had the curiosity of how things fit together and work together. Over the years those interests developed into a strong passion for sketching and painting. I went on to begin my lacrosse career playing through high school and getting recruited to play at Elmhurst University in Chicago, Il. I studied marketing and played ball for two and a half years before making the decision to transfer back to San Diego and follow my creative passion. I began attending The NewSchool of Architecture and Design in 2019 and began my studies in Product Design. Since then I've been exploring the industry of creation with projects ranging from furniture to Iron Man Suits.
